GhostAI Stack: Google account access
GhostAI Stack is a set of private software tools that one person, the operator, uses to manage his own email, calendar and documents. It is not a public service: there is no sign-up, and the only Google accounts connected are the operator's own.
Two applications use the same Google sign-in (OAuth) registration, Google Cloud project
orbit-staging-2facfc:
Hermes, a personal assistant
Hermes runs on a private server and watches the operator's mailboxes so that important mail is not missed. With Google access it:
- Gmail (
gmail.modify): reads message headers to sort and prioritise mail, reads a thread when the operator asks about it or asks for a reply draft, applies labels, and saves drafts. It sends an email only after the operator approves that specific message. Automatic archiving is turned off. - Google Calendar (
calendar): reads upcoming events for the operator's agenda, and creates, moves or cancels an event only after the operator approves it. - Google Drive (
drive.readonly): searches and reads files when the operator asks. It never changes, shares or deletes Drive files.
Orbit, a personal planning app (staging)
Orbit is in development and runs on Google Cloud. With Google access it:
- Gmail (
gmail.readonly): reads the operator's mail so it can show what needs a reply and what he is waiting on. It does not change or send mail. - Google Calendar (
calendar.events.readonly,calendar.calendarlist.readonly): built to read events, but not connected today.
The Privacy Policy describes exactly what data each application reads, where it is kept, which outside services see it, and how to remove access.
